Opto-isolated Probes for Signals from ±1V to ±2500V
22 May 2023 - Saelig Company introduced the Micsig SigoFIT Series Opto-isolated Probes which have excellent amplitude/frequency characteristics and deliver an excellent common mode rejection ratio (CMRR up to 112dB at 100MHz, over 100dB at 500MHz.) The full-range noise floor is 1.1mVrms max, and the 24-hour zero drift is less than 50uV. These SigOFIT probes feature Micsig's exclusive SigOFIT optical isolation technology, remotely powered by laser light or battery, offering extremely high isolation voltage to help engineers to see true, uncorrupted signals within their specified bandwidths.
New 30GHz Sequential Sampling Oscilloscope
10 May 2023 - Pico Technology announced major updates and additions to their PicoScope PC-based 9000 Series oscilloscopes. New to the product spectrum are a 30 GHz bandwidth model of the 9300 sampling oscilloscope series and updated 5 GHz, 16 GHz, and 20 GHz models of the 9400 series.
New 4-Channel Digital Storage Oscilloscope
24 March 2023 - Acute launched a new 4-Channel Digital Storage Oscilloscope (DSO). The new TravelScope 3000 (TS3000) offers a bandwidth of 200 MHz and a sample rate of 1 GS/s. The instrument supports also a DSO stack mode, in which up to 4 devices (16 channels) can be stacked together in the same time. More than 20 types of waveform measurements with customized threshold settings features, provide real-time update for vertical, time and channel to channel timing measurements with statistic features.
Rohde & Schwarz Oscilloscope Days 2023
23 March 2023 — Following increasing global interest from electronics engineers, the popular Rohde & Schwarz Oscilloscope Days event will continue in 2023. The two-day event is scheduled for April 18 and 19 and will present a series of webinars from Rohde & Schwarz oscilloscope experts and specialists along with others from event partners Würth Elektronik and PE-Systems. The sessions will address the real-world challenges engineers face in a range of measurement applications.
CAN FD/LIN Monitor module
20. March 2023 - Yokogawa released the 720245 CAN FD/LIN monitor module for development and evaluation of automobiles, trucks, and vessels. The CAN FD/LIN monitor module can be used to decode the CAN FD or LIN-Bus signals and display information on physical data like engine temperature, vehicle speed and brake-pedal position as analog waveforms and compare this with the data coming from real sensors.
Oscilloscope Probes are essential parts of the measurement chain
28 February 2023 - The oscilloscope probe is an essential part of the measurement chain. Some measurements would not even be possible without probes e.g. current measurements or high voltage measurements. So don’t forget to have a special look on the probes when you setup a measurement. On OScopes.info we published over the years a large variety of information on oscilloscope probes and probing in different forms: news, whitepapers, application notes, videos and webinars. Following we have compiled an overview for you.
Time-correlated USB4 Analysis of Oscilloscope and Protocol Analyzer
02 February 2023 – Teledyne LeCroy announced the extension of their patented CrossSync PHY technology to USB4 signaling over USB Type-C connectors. CrossSync PHY enables waveforms from Teledyne LeCroy oscilloscopes to be viewed alongside protocol analyzer traces, with complete time-correlation of electrical and protocol information for easy and powerful validation and root-cause analysis.
