MultiGBASE-T1 Automotive Ethernet Standard Compliance Test Solution
16 May 2022 - Teledyne LeCroy annouced a new MultiGBASE-T1 Automotive Ethernet standard compliance test solution. QPHY-MultiGBase-T1 is a software package which automates compliance testing and validation of 2.5G, 5G and 10G Automotive Ethernet, as is described in the MultGBase-T1 (IEEE 802.3ch) specification. Detailed connection diagrams ensure the proper setup and provide information about the required test pattern for each test. Upon completion of the test session, results are automatically compiled into a comprehensive report including screenshots.
Fast and comprehensive DisplayPort 2.0 PHY Test Solution
26 July 2021 – Teledyne LeCroy furthers its leadership in DisplayPort testing with with QualiPHY DisplayPort 2.0 source and sink compliance and DisplayPort AUX DME (Decode, Measure & Eye Diagram) oscilloscope software options. 19 April 2021 - The new K88 option for R&S RTO and R&S RTP oscilloscopes from Rohde & Schwarz enables compliance testing on the next evolution of the automotive Ethernet standard. PCI Express Test Solution supports Oscilloscopes of 3 Vendors
08 June 2018 – Anritsu launched a PCIe test and compliance test solution which was developed in collaboration with Granite River Labs (GRL) and Teledyne LeCroy. The test solution supports both PCI Express transmitter and receiver tests using automation software for the MP1900A. It also enables connection of customers’ oscilloscopes with the MP1900A by supporting real-time oscilloscopes from the three main manufacturers, permitting automation of complex receiver tests required for evaluating devices in accordance with the PCI Express standards.

Automated 400G PAM4 Compliance Testing
14 June 2017 – Tektronix has expanded its line-up of PAM4 test solutions to include comprehensive 400G electrical compliance testing for OIF-CEI-56G VSR/MR/LR PAM4 standards. The new 400G-TXE software package runs on high-performance Tektronix DPO70000SX Real-Time Oscilloscopes; a lineup of models which go up to 70 GHz in bandwidth. Automated USB 3.1 Type-C Test Solution
02 January 2017 - Tektronix announced an automated USB 3.1 Type-C transmitter test solution for Gen1 and Gen 2 that combines full SigTest support with DPOJET debug and analysis tools, allowing designers to bring devices with improved margins to market in less time. 03 November 2016 – Tektronix announced a new DisplayPort Type-C Transmitter Test solution that significantly reduces compliance test times compared to both previous Tektronix DisplayPort solution and those available from competitors. Thunderbolt 3 Compliance Test
15 June 2016 - Keysight Technologies announced that Allion Labs, Inc., an international electronics certification laboratory, has successfully adopted Keysight’s high-speed digital measurement solutions to offer certification testing services for the new Thunderbolt 3 hosts (motherboards, notebooks, add-on cards, all-in-one systems) and devices. As a result, Allion is now an Intel authorized certification lab for Thunderbolt 3 technologies.

Physical Layer Testing for APIX2 In-Car Video Applications
03 September 2015 – Keysight Technologies announced a new compliance application for characterizing and testing of APIX2 (Automotive Pixel Link) high-speed SerDes (serialiser/deserialiser) technology using the Keysight Infiniium Series oscilloscopes. Developed by Inova Semiconductors, APIX2 is a multi-channel technology for high-resolution in-car video applications. APIX2 can establish multiple display links with a bandwidth of up to 3Gbps, over two pairs of copper cables or a single QSTP cable, and supports HD video at 24 bit color depth.

30 March 2015 – Teledyne LeCroy introduces the QPHY-USB3.1-Tx-Rx package for automated USB 3.1 transmitter (Tx) and receiver (Rx) ing, characterization, and debug, creating a unique and comprehensive USB 3.1 test suite. MIPI M-PHY Automated Physical Layer Compliance Test
16 March 2015 – Teledyne LeCroy announces an automated physical layer transmitter compliance test capability for the MIPI M-PHY standard. The new compliance test software, QPHY-MIPI-MPHY can measure a large number of cycles in a short period of time. Testing can be done on HS-MODE, PWM-MODE and SYS-MODE signals at all currently specified GEARs. A new active termination adaptor specifically designed for M-PHY testing ensures connection between the device under test and the oscilloscope is made in a simple, cost-effective, high fidelity manner.

Rigol releases Software for Testing Switching Power Supplies
28 November 2014 – Rigol Technologies EU has released a new PC Software, which enables users to perform standard measurements on switching power supplies. This software, in combination with Rigol oscilloscopes (series DS/MSO2000A, DS4000 or DS6000) allows customers to set up small test systems, which represent a reasonably priced alternative for measuring switching power supply parameters during the development phase.
Transmitter Testing Solution for USB 3.1
26 November 2014 – Keysight Technologies introduced transmitter (TX) test support for the USB 3.1 specification with the U7243B USB 3.1 transmitter performance validation and compliance test software. The test software allows authorized test centers to certify SuperSpeed USB and SuperSpeed USB 10-Gbps devices and gives in-house test and performance validation engineers the tools to ensure their devices comply with the USB 3.1 specification. 20 November 2014 - MIPI D-PHY is becoming an established data interface for cameras and screens in smartphones and tablets. Its high data rate of 1.5 Gbit/s is increasing the importance of signal integrity in assembly design and component selection. 17 September 2014 - Keysight Technologies introduced DDR4 ball-grid array (BGA) probe interposer solutions for Infiniium Series oscilloscopes. 05 August 2014 – Tektronix announced a cost-effective compliance transmitter test solution for the Project 25 (P25) Common Air Interface (CAI) Phase 1 and Phase 2 standard. 29 July 2014 — Rohde & Schwarz has expanded the application field of the R&S RTO oscilloscopes to include the testing of automotive Ethernet interfaces. In line with the OPEN Alliance test specification, the new R&S RTO-K24 compliance test software enables users to perform automated tests on BroadR Reach Ethernet interfaces. BroadR Reach technology makes it possible to combine multiple applications such as video streaming from rear view cameras and signal transmission from automotive radar systems to create a single, open and scalable Ethernet network inside the vehicle.

HDMI 2.0 Compliance Test Software for Transmitters and Receivers
16 January 2014 – Agilent Technologies introduced two compliance test software packages for physical-layer testing of devices that use the new High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) 2.0 specification. The transmitter compliance test software allows engineers to use Agilent Infiniium oscilloscopes to test their HDMI 2.0 transmitters. Agilent’s receiver compliance software can be used with the company’s transition-minimized differential-signaling signal generator platform and the Agilent M8190A arbitrary waveform generator to test HDMI 2.0 receivers.
