17 April 2015 - Yokogawa offers new trigger and analysis options for its DLM2000 (4-channel) and DLM4000 (8-channel) mixed-signal oscilloscopes (MSOs) for testing the latest generation of in-vehicle serial buses. The new options are specifically designed to address the measurement challenges posed by the CAN FD (CAN with Flexible Data Rate) and SENT (Single Edge Nibble Transmission) bus systems.
15 April 2015 – Teledyne LeCroy introduced the CP030A and CP031A high sensitivity current probes featuring a sensitivity down to 1 mA/div allowing users to measure current from the mA range up to a continuous current of 30Arms and peak current of 50A all with the same probe. The probes provide a small form factor for today’s crowded boards. The small jaws can probe currents in tight spaces and still clamp onto conductors up to 5 mm in diameter. The CP030A and CP031A feature a bandwidth of 50 MHz and 100 MHz, respectively.
14 April 2015 - The new BitScope Micro Port 02 (MP02A) is an in-line mixed signal I/O adapter for BitScope Micro. It can be used to connect standard oscilloscope probes and BNC terminated cables to BitScope Micro. Any oscilloscope probe with 1:1, 10:1 or other attenuation ratio can be used. It supports active differential, current or any other probe which is BNC terminated and designed for an oscilloscope.
13 April 2015 – Teledyne LeCroy launched a PAM4 Signal Analysis software for its real-time oscilloscopes. This new set of analysis tools makes essential eye, jitter and noise measurements on all three eye openings of a PAM4 signal, a requirement for engineers who are designing next-generation electrical and optical links that seek to double data transfer rates by leveraging PAM4 signaling.
10 April 2015 – Teledyne LeCroy enhanced its two highest performance oscilloscope product lines. The new LabMaster 10 Zi-A delivers improved performance in effective number of bits and baseline noise along with the industry leading jitter measurement floor. The new WaveMaster 8 Zi-B features increased sample rate, lower noise, enhanced processing capabilities and the latest version of Teledyne LeCroy's advanced oscilloscope user interface, MAUI.
09 April 2015 - Keysight introduced the N8834A MultiScope software to connect up to 10 of Infiniium Series oscilloscopes to achieve 40-channel acquisition. The software provides a tight time correlation between the multiple scopes and is able to achieve inter-scope intrinsic jitter of 150 fs with precision calibration (90000 Q- and Z-Series only). The software allows users to perform multi-lane oscilloscope analysis for applications such as optical networking, MIMO, DDR memory and high-speed serial standards.
30 March 2015 – Teledyne LeCroy introduces the QPHY-USB3.1-Tx-Rx package for automated USB 3.1 transmitter (Tx) and receiver (Rx) ing, characterization, and debug, creating a unique and comprehensive USB 3.1 test suite. With the new test package, USB 3.1 testing can be performed on both Gen1 (5 Gb/s) and Gen2 (10 Gb/s) devices under test according to the latest USB 3.1 specifications.
26 March 2015 – Keysight Technologies launched a new measurement software for characterization of PAM-4 (pulse amplitude modulation with four amplitude levels) signals using the Keysight V-Series, Z-Series, and S-Series real-time oscilloscope platforms. The Keysight N8827A PAM-4 analysis software (for V- and Z-Series oscilloscopes) and N8827B PAM-4 analysis software (for S-Series oscilloscopes) provides comprehensive analysis of electrical PAM-4 signals.
24 March 2015 – Tektronix announced the DPO70000SX 70 GHz ATI Performance Oscilloscope featuring the lowest-noise and highest effective bits of any ultra-high bandwidth real-time oscilloscope available on the market. The new oscilloscope incorporates a range of innovations that enable it to more effectively meet the current and future needs of engineers and scientists developing high-speed coherent optical systems or performing leading-edge research.
20 March 2015 - Tektronix launched a new high sensitivity Clock Recovery Trigger Pickoff (CRTP) option for its 100G broad wavelength 80C15 Optical Sampling Module for use with DSA8300 Digital Serial Analyzer sampling oscilloscopes. This is the first and only test solution with signal sensitivity sufficient to test optical devices and perform clock recovery required by the recently approved 100GBASE-SR4 (IEEE 802.3bm) specification.
