18 May 2015 - TiePie released the new Version 0.5 of the LibTiePie library for its USB oscilloscopes. LibTiePie is available for Windows and various Linux platforms, including Raspberry Pi, Beaglebone Black, RIoTboard and Wandboard Dual. LibTiePie supports the USB oscilloscopes Handyscope HS5, Handyprobe HP3, Handyscope HS4 and Handyscope HS4 DIFF.
The new version 0.5 includes multiple changes and enhancements. LibTiePie now supports the Handyprobe HP3, which makes it possible to use the Handyprobe HP3 in a Linux environment. For Handyscope HS5 a generator burst status, many new generator modes, a generator pulse signal type and a generator output invert function have been added. Also included are many API and documentation improvements.
LibTiePie is a cross platform library for writing software for TiePie engineering USB oscilloscopes and arbitrary function generators and using them through third party software on various Windows and Linux platforms as well as embedded platforms like Raspberry Pi, Beaglebone Black, etc..
