Oscilloscope with integrated AWG with 2 analog and 8 digital Channels
16 May 2017 - Rohde & Schwarz is the first oscilloscope manufacturer to offer an integrated arbitrary waveform and pattern generator in the lab class. With the optional generator, all R&S RTO2000 and R&S RTE oscilloscopes can deliver test signals on two analog and eight digital channels, making it possible to test complex circuits in a minimum of space using a single instrument. Even fully automated compliance tests can be performed.
400 A Current Clamp for use with USB Oscilloscope
12 May 2017 - TiePie engineering has added a new current clamp to its product portfolio, the Current Clamp TP-CC400. The Current Clamp will allow to measure electrical currents up to 400 A AC/DC. When measuring with this current clamp, there is no need to break a closed circuit or to affect the isolation. The wide jaws allow performing measurements on conductors up to 20 mm.
100MHz Bandwidth High-Voltage differential Probes
10 May 2017 - Acute announced its new 100MHz bandwidth high-voltage differential probes: the ADP1100, the ADP2100 and the ADP5100. These probes with good CMRR and low noise floor performance, apply to high-volatge/floating/reference-potential and are better for measuring the MOSFET signal of switching power.
USB Oscilloscope with four 1kV Isolated Channels
08 May 2017 - Cleverscope launched the new CS448 oscilloscope with four 1kV isolated channels and 200 MHz bandwidth. It is designed for applications where isolation is needed - in particular power electronics. Each channel is isolated from the other, and ground, to 1kV working voltage. The common mode rejection ratio is >100 dB at 50 MHz. The Oscilloscope uses 14 bit ADCs at 500 MSPS to give very good dynamic range, with a noise floor below 100 dBV.
MIPI D-PHY and C-PHY Conformance Test Solution
04 May 2017 -Keysight now offers a transmitter and receiver test solution based on the MIPI Alliance’s D-PHY v2.0 and v2.1 specification and C-PHY v1.0 and v1.1 specification and conformance test suite (CTS). The solution also supports MIPI Alliance’s system power management interface (SPMI) specification protocol decoder for battery-operated Internet of Things (IoT) and mobile devices.
New PXI-based 8-Channel Oscilloscope
03 May 2017 - National Instruments (NI) announced a new 100 MHz, 8-channel oscilloscope that builds on NI’s expertise in high-density and software-designed instruments in PXI. The new PXIe-5172 oscilloscope includes a user-programmable FPGA. Engineers can use LabVIEW to customize this oscilloscope’s firmware, such as adding in-line signal processing or advanced triggering.
TiePie added Crankshaft Angle I/O to Oscilloscope Software
12 April 2017 - TiePie engineering announced that Version 1.36 of the Multi Channel oscilloscope software is now available for download. A demo version is also available, which can be used without connecting measuring instruments. For automotive purposes a Crankshaft angle I/O was added. In modern engines, usually a crankshaft sensor is present which generates a periodic signal with a number of cycles per revolution of the engine.
