Oscilloscope Probes for High-Voltage Signal Measurements
12 November 2014 – Keysight Technologies introduced 200-, 300- and 500-MHz, high-voltage probing solutions with a wider input range, higher common-mode rejection ratio and optimized accessories. The probes are ideal for testing today’s switching power supplies or power devices and for measuring motor drives and vehicle buses. The Keysight N2804A differential probe offers up to 300-MHz bandwidth and ±300-Vdc + peak AC of the maximum differential input range, allowing engineers to use it for a broad range of power applications.
Teledyne LeCroy presents 100 GHz Oscilloscope
11 November 2014 - Teledyne LeCroy introduces the LabMaster 10-100Zi featuring a real-time bandwidth of 100 GHz and a sample rate of 240 GS/s. The 100 GHz technology was first publicly demonstrated in July 2013, and has since been featured at the 2014 DesignCon, OFC and ECOC exhibitions. The technology included in the LabMaster 10-100Zi is key to analyzing and understanding the fastest phenomena found in R&D of next-generation communication systems, high bandwidth electrical components, and fundamental scientific research.
Rohde & Schwarz extends Analysis of long Signal Sequences on R&S RTM oscilloscopes
11 November 2014 - Equipped with the R&S RTM-K15 history and segmented memory option, the R&S RTM bench oscilloscope enables users to analyze longer signal sequences than is possible with any other instrument in this class. The R&S RTM automatically acquires only the relevant signal sequences, such as bursts or pulses, and stores them in segmented memory. The oscilloscope's full functionality can then be used to analyze the acquired signals in detail.
element14 launches BitScope Micro for Raspberry Pi
07 November 2014 - element14 has partnered with BitScope Designs to manufacture and distribute BitScope Micro, a full feature dual channel digital oscilloscope for Raspberry Pi. BitScope Micro is also an eight channel logic analyser, waveform generator, clock generator and spectrum analyser all packaged in one low cost lightweight water resistant test probe. BitScope Micro captures digital signals at up to 40 MSps and has a 20 MHz analogue bandwidth.
Software Option to increase vertical Oscilloscope Resolution to 16-bit
07 November 2014 - With the high definition (HD) mode Rohde & Schwarz increases the vertical resolution of the R&S RTO and R&S RTE oscilloscopes to up to 16 bits - a 256-fold improvement over 8-bit resolution. Waveforms are sharper and show signal details that would otherwise be masked by noise. Users benefit from even more precise analysis results.
Oscilloscope Probes for High-Voltage Signal Measurements
05 November 2014 – Keysight Technologies introduced 200-, 300- and 500-MHz, high-voltage probing solutions with a wider input range, higher common-mode rejection ratio and optimized accessories. The probes are ideal for testing today’s switching power supplies or power devices and for measuring motor drives and vehicle buses.
Oscilloscopes - Overview Products and Suppliers
The following list shows which oscilloscope manufacturer supplies which kind of instruments. The frequency in the header specifies the maximum bandwidth. In this list we considered only manufacturers offering scopes with a bandwidth of more than 100 MHz. In case of USB, PXI/PXIe, and LXI we regarded only instruments which are explicitly specified as oscilloscope. There are many other instruments available which are specified as digitizer oder data acquisition modules and might be suitable for some applications.
